Coaching Standards: Our clinics maintain a 9 to 12 player coach ratio, allowing our coaches to provide strong attention to detail, individualized correction, and high quality skill development for every player.
Program Full? Still complete your online registration. Your child will be added to the waitlist, and we will contact you if a spot opens or the program expands.
Program Requirements: Participants must meet the age and skill level listed. If not, and without prior written approval, we will transfer the registration to a suitable program.
Progression: At The Burlington Pond, we don’t hold players back. If your child is ready for a higher-level clinic mid-session, we will move them—pending instructor approval.
Evaluation Policy: Please be aware that the first session date serves as an evaluation or the first session date player attends (late registrations). Following evaluations, if our Pond Coaches determine that your child may be better suited for another clinic, we will promptly notify you via email. Your child may also be moved to another group time as deemed appropriate. Thank you for your understanding
Respectful Communication Policy: We are committed to a positive, respectful environment for all staff. Please communicate respectfully with our coaches, staff and administrative team at all times. Aggressive or inappropriate behaviour in person, by email, or online will not be tolerated. We are here to support your child’s development and appreciate your cooperation.
Our Pre-Rep sessions are the next step on the road to Rep Hockey. These clinics help young players build strong skating and hockey fundamentals. To get the most out of the program, players should have already completed a learn-to-skate program and be comfortable skating forward, backward, and stopping on their own.
As players progress through the program, they gain the skills and confidence needed for strong development and future success in Rep Hockey and beyond. Pre-Rep clinics require full hockey equipment.
Can’t Commit to a clinic. Check Out our Drop in Pass Below

“Thank you to the Burlington Pond coaches for helping me reach my hockey goals. My development didn’t happen in just one session it took a full year of Pre Power Skating, session after session. That consistent training on the smaller ice surface truly transformed my skating and overall game, allowing me to compete successfully in boys’ hockey. I wouldn’t be the player I am today without the dedication of the Pond coaches and the commitment my parents made to keep me in the program. I am incredibly grateful for everything the Pond has done to help me grow as a hockey player.”
