Preschool

Beginner Level -- When:
Sunday @ 4:10 p.m.

Weeks = $220.00 + HST
Advanced Level-- When:
Sunday @ 5:10 p.m.
Description:Group
skating lesson for children ages 4-6. Program class length
is 50 min. This program is for children who have never skated or are moving at a slow pace. Along with Music, Fun and Games, children will leran how to sit, get up and balance (stand) on two feet, march
on a spot, walk forward, backward, quarter turns on the spot, walk
around on the spot, and two foot jump on the spot etc.
Once your child is moving we move them up and focus on speed in the Advanced level.
Children must be able to
be away from their parent for the hour. Children must be able
to listen and carry out the Coach's instructions while staying in
a group. Children must have these movement skills mastered
prior to moving up to the next level, Preschool Advanced or Learn to Skate Beginners. |

Learn
to Skate - Beginners
(Next Session: Sunday September 19th OR Tuesday September 21st) |

Description:
The Learn to Skate Beginner Program is for children 6+. In this program children may divided into two groups - the
"very beginners" and the "skaters & stoppers".
Once the "very beginners" learn to stride, glide and stop
properly, they are advanced to the "skaters & stoppers"
group. In this group, the children are introduced to the very basics
in hockey including proper handling of their sticks while continuing
to work on their skating basics including forward stride, backwards,
pivots, crossovers, stops and quick starts. |

| Introduction to Hockey (Next
Session: Sunday September 19th) |

Description:Graduates from the Learn to Skate beginner program or children who already know how to skate forwards, backwards and stop.
Let’s play hockey! You know how to skate, and stop yourself before you crash, let’s put a stick in your hands and teach you the fundamentals of skating in the game of hockey. Participants will learn how to hold their stick, when to hold it with one hand or two hands, continued stride development forwards and backwards, how to cross over and how to handle a puck.
Houseleague Skills (Next
Session: Thursday Sept 16th)
When: Thursday @ 4:40pm Fee:

Description: The Program is offered to the hockey
player who has mastered the basics in skating. We will continue
to work on forward stride development, quick starts, edge control,
balance, crossovers, stopping, backwards skating and puck control. |

Description: Supplement your regular season hockey routine with this unique 10 week program that is designed specifically for females and is run entirely by females. While at this clinic your daughter will develop and improve upon her forward and backward stride, crossovers, explosiveness, agility, edge control, power skating, shooting, puck control and much more! |

Women's Beginner Adult 3 on 3 Hockey League - Fee: 20 weeks = $335 +HST

Our Goal here at The Pond is to ensure your child develops and learns while on the ice with our many instructors. Campers will be outside during the day (weather permitting) for fun filled safe group activities. Upon registration, parents will receive a full week’s itinerary. |

Description: Beyond the Crease Goaltending is among the most complete goaltender training services in Southwestern Ontario with current clientele across Halton, Hamilton and Waterloo regions. The philosophy of BTC Goaltending is to provide students of all age and skill levels with the tools necessary to play the toughest position in sports at the highest level possible. BTC Goaltending focuses on introducing, teaching and developing skills for playing the goaltender position that provide the necessary 'tools' to each goaltender. As these tools are introduced, the goaltender is encouraged to develop their own style or 'toolbox'.
