Learn to Skate programs available to all ages and skill levels. We teach the basic
fundamental skills needed for your child to develop their skating while having fun!
Learn to skate Beginners:
Graduates from the preschool program or children older than Kindergarden.
Let’s get moving! Once you’re moving we’ll teach you how to go faster. Learn to Skate Beginner teaches basic skating skills to start developing a proper stride at a slow steady pace... not only forwards but backwards too! As you get going we’ll also teach you how to stop so you don’t run into the boards. Ideal for those who are new to skating and on ice instruction.

Learn to Skate Advanced:
Graduates from the Learn to Skate beginner program or children who know how to skate forwards, backwards and stop.
Let’s play hockey! You know how to skate, and stop yourself before you crash, let’s put a stick in your hands and teach you the fundamentals of skating in the game of hockey. Participants will learn how to hold their stick, when to hold it with one hand or two hands, continued stride development forwards and backwards, how to cross over and how to handle a puck.
