Work Schedule: evenings & weekends (additional hours available during daytime during PA days, school breaks and summer break)

Requirements: G2 licence or higher with no restrictions, weekday daytime and weekend availability.

Training: No zamboni experience required, paid Zamboni training included. Preference to those with experience with heavy machinery ie. Bobcat or Forklift

This position is great for local university students.

Work Schedule: Sundays 9am to 12pm (long weekends off)

Job Description: The Burlington Pond Hockey Training Centre is looking for enthusiastic and qualified coaches to join our Learn to Skate program.

Qualifications Ideal candidates will have:

  • Experience teaching beginner skaters
  • Strong skating skills and the ability to teach fundamental techniques
  • Current coaching certification (CanSkate, NCCP, Skate Canada, or equivalent) preferred
  • Experience working with young children in a structured learning environment

Program Schedule

The Learn to Skate program runs Sundays from 9:00am to 12:00pm on the following dates:

Fall Session

  • September 13, 20, 27
  • October 4, 18, 25
  • November 1, 8, 15, 22, 29
  • December 6, 13

The Winter 2027 Session will run from January through March, with dates to be announced.

Job Description

The Pond is seeking energetic, positive, and reliable Hockey Camp Coaches to lead our hockey camps during PA Days, school breaks, and summer. Coaches will work with children ages 5–10 in a fun, safe, and supportive environment while helping them develop skating, hockey skills, confidence, and a love of the game.

Responsibilities

  • Lead on-ice skating and hockey skill development sessions.
  • Teach power skating and puck skills.
  • Supervise off-ice games and camp activities.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of participants.
  • Foster a positive, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Serve as a positive role model for young athletes.

Qualifications Required

  • Minimum 16 years of age.
  • Experience playing competitive hockey.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Enjoy working with children.
  • Available to work on the listed PA Days, school break camps, and summer camp weeks.

Preferred

  • Currently playing AAA, AA, Junior, College, or University hockey.
  • Previous coaching or camp experience.

female Body contact & battle clinic BIRTHYEARS: U15 2011/2012

FEMALE REP PLAYERS 

This clinic is designed to teach female players how to receive body contact and create puck separation through effective angling and body positioning. It will help your daughter develop the confidence to engage in game battles. Controlled battle drills will prepare your daughter to play with more edge and resilience on the ice.

This clinic is geared towards female players

All registrations are final sale, no refunds or credits will be issued for missed session.
