The Pillars to Elite Hockey Programs were designed and created by The Moore Family and our team of Pond Coaches. It is designed to establish a solid foundation for skating and hockey development. Our dedicated owners; Coaches Greg, Ryan, and Michele along with Pond Certified coaches Graham, James, Udo and Tristyn will monitor player’s development weekly. Our coaches will not hold players back or expose players to levels they are not yet ready for. Should your player require a different level clinic, WE WILL MOVE THEM to the appropriate clinic (upon Pond Instructor approval). Your child is required to earn their position by working hard! Below are descriptions of the programs we offer to our Rep and Elite Players. We highly recommend players complete the following Rep & Elite Pathway Clinics. We also strongly encourage parents to rotate your player through our spectrum of programs for optimal development in every area of the game.

• Level A, AA: Ages 8 & 9 Rep Acceleration, Stride & Edge 
• Level AA, AAA: Ages 10 to 13 Rep Defence Clinic
• Level AA, AAA: Ages 9 to 11 & 12 to 14 Rep Explosive Stride & Edges 
• Level AA, AAA: Ages 9 to 11 & 12 to 14 Rep Acceleration & Speed Training
• Level Elite/Pros: Ages 15+ High Performance, Small Group

LEVEL AA, AAA:

REP ACCELERATION, STRIDE & EDGES

• Ages 8 & 9: This clinic is for graduates of Super 7 & 8 or Approved AAA, AA Rep Player.

MICHELE & RYAN REP ACCELERATION, STRIDE & EDGES: This program is the prerequisite for all ‘Pathway Players Ages 8 & 9. This rep clinic prepare players for the road to Elite Hockey. Coaches Michele & Ryan rotate weekly to build a strong foundation of edges and acceleration. This program will focus on: Stride Technique, Stride Power, Weight Transfer, Generating Power Through Edges, Transitions & Crossovers (forwards /backwards), small & large area acceleration, lateral acceleration, straight acceleration, all with and without a puck.

LEVEL AA, AAA: 

REP DEFENCE CLINIC

• Ages 10 to 13: (Approved A Players,) AA, AAA Players

RYAN’S REP DEFENCE CLINIC: We produce top results. Our defensemen get to the top of their game! We will build the assets needed to be the next great defensemen. This clinic is designed to develop the essential skills to become a great defenseman. This is not a positional program it is a skill development program. Your player will learn the most important skills to play defense including QUICK FEET, LATERAL MOVEMENT, PUCK MOVEMENT, EFFICIENCY, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY…..THE ABILITY TO PLAY HEADS UP HOCKEY WITH CLEAR VISION OF THE ICE

LEVEL AA, AAA: 

REP EXPLOSIVE STRIDE & EDGES

• Ages 9 to 11: Approved AA, AAA Rep Player. If your child is new to the Pond and has not completed any level 2 clinics your player is required to be approved by Pond Coaches.
• Ages 12 to 14: Approved AA, AAA Rep Player. If your child is new to the Pond and has not completed any level 2 clinics your player is required to be approved by Pond Coaches. 

MICHELE’S REP EXPLOSIVE STRIDE & EDGES: POPULAR PROGRAM – Sells out fast

Players are required to progress through the appropriate levels due to Michele’s high standards. This clinic is designed for elite high-end rep players! Michele puts players to work with her vast skating knowledge. Her skill and technique are sought after and give players the edge over their opponents. This program will focus on: Stride Technique, Stride Power, Advanced Edge Manipulation, Weight Transfer, Generating Power Through Edges, Transitions & Crossovers (forwards/backwards).

LEVEL AA, AAA: 

REP ACCELERATION & SPEED TRAINING

• Ages 9 to 11: Approved AA, AAA Rep Player. If your child is new to the Pond and has not completed any level 2 clinics your player is required to be approved by Pond Coaches.
• Ages 12 to 14: Approved AA, AAA Rep Player. If your child is new to the Pond and has not completed any level 2 clinics your player is required to be approved by Pond Coaches. 

RYAN’S REP ACCELERATION & SPEED TRAINING: SPEED WINS! Translate edge and power skating work into acceleration, speed, and quickness with Ryan Moore! Learn how to maximize edge and stride efficiencies learned in other classes to explosively sprint, accelerate and improve overall speed in hockey situations. Players will learn how to use their speed to win battles and leave opponents behind. This program focuses on: SMALL & LARGE AREA ACCELERATION, LATERAL ACCELERATION, STRAIGHT ACCELERATION, ALL WITH AND WITHOUT A PUCK.

LEVEL Elite/Pro: 

HIGH-PERFORMANCE & SMALL GROUPS

• Ages 15+: This clinic is for draft year/drafted players OR Approved Player by Michele/Ryan /Greg/Agent referral.

HIGH-PERFORMANCE TRAINING FOR ELITE/PRO PLAYERS AGES 15+: This clinic is a professional style program focusing on the following skills at an ELITE level. Advanced edge work & edge & control body control, Power, acceleration, explosiveness, agility/lateral movement/first 3 steps. All with and without the puck.

SMALL GROUP TRAINING AGES 15+: This clinic will target specific needs of player development.
