If the program you are registering for is FULL. Please continue with the online registration your child will be WAITLISTED. You will be in our system to be contacted if a spot opens up or if we expand.
Participants must meet the registration requirements noted on the program description. If your child does not meet the age or skill level requirement, without prior written approval from The Pond, your registration will transfer to the appropriate program.
AT THE BURLINGTON POND, we do not hold players back. If we deem midway through a session that your child should be a higher level clinic we will move them to the appropriate clinic! Upon Pond Instructor approval

Our House League sessions for players ages 7 to 12 provides the skating and hockey skills needed to build a solid hockey foundation. BEGINNER, INTERMEDIATE & ADVANCED LEVELS. We highly recommend skaters complete all sessions of the House League Programs for optimal development. Full Hockey Equipment is required.

BEGINNER POWER SKATING
This power skating program is tailored for players who are at the start of their hockey journey. Participants are expected to have completed a learn to skate program or have basic skating abilities, including forward and backward skating, as well as an understanding of stopping. The focus of the class will be on developing forward & backward skating skills, mastering basic stopping in both directions and introducing players to edges. This program is the foundation for players to be able to graduate to the intermediate class.

To participate in this program, players must have successfully completed the Beginner Power Skate program or demonstrate proficiency in forward & backward skating, forward & backward crossovers in both directions as well as stopping in both directions. This class will focus on advancing players skating skills at an accelerated pace. In addition, they will work on their puck skills, including stickhandling, puck control, passing, shooting and introduction to puck drills. Successful completion of this program will provide players the opportunity to progress to the advanced level.

Participants in this program are required to have successfully completed the Intermediate Power Skating & Puck Skills program or demonstrate proficiency in forward & backward skating, forward & backward crossovers in both directions, as well as stopping and pivoting at high speeds in both directions. The class will concentrate on refining advanced edge skills, including mohawks, overspeed techniques, and agility with and without the puck. Priority will be given to elevating quickness and executing more advanced hockey drills.
